Our Research

The Optima programmes for teaching reading, writing, spelling, mathematics and behaviour management have been researched systematically since the early 1990s. The research has been supported by grants of over £1m and involved collaborations between University based researchers, local authorities and teachers. The research conducted to date has been divided into two sections:
